September
Emotional Wellness
September is Emotional Wellness Month at Our Saviour’s. This year’s theme is “Anchored in Hope: Healthy Ways to Weather Life’s Storms.”
Emotional wellness does not mean feeling happy all the time. It means noticing what we are carrying, responding to ourselves and others with compassion, practicing healthy coping strategies, and reaching out for support when life feels heavy.
Throughout the month, we will explore simple practices that can help us pause, rest, reconnect with what grounds us, and remember that we do not have to face difficult seasons alone. Visit the Wellness Ministry displays at both campuses to find practical tools and encouragement to support your emotional well-being.
Jesus invites us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28

Some days carry more weight than others: grief, caregiving, illness, loneliness, life transitions, or meaningful anniversaries. If you are walking through a tender season, you are invited to share a Tender Moment HERE. You are invited to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing. Members of our pastoral staff, congregational care and wellness ministry teams will gently hold you in prayer and follow up with you as needed, so you do not have to carry your tender moment alone.
